Book Review: Shifter
BY Jennifer Reynolds
Life lesson number one: Never anger a powerful witch. Too bad Dimitri Sullivan didn’t know the beautiful redhead he met at a bar, bedded, and skipped out on was a witch—let alone a psychotic one who turns him into a diseased-ridden, flea-bitten, house cat; the complete antecedent to his predominate wolf form. Abby, like most humans, knows nothing about the supernatural world. She does know that her new cat is different. She knows that the new, gorgeous man in her life is up to something. And she knows that something isn’t right about the beautiful yet crazy woman stalking her. When Mave, the witch who cursed Dimitri, discovers that the curse she placed on him is breaking, she goes to great lengths to stop him from becoming human once again. |

BOOK REVIEW: MOVING ON
BY: PAVAN KAUR
If you are looking for a light read, then this debut novel from Pavan Kaur would be perfect for you. This book has enough drama and humor to keep you entertained, not to mention the undeniable attraction between Nick and Kim which will make you say 'awe' for more than a couple of times. What I like best about this book is how it gives you hope. Hope that despite the bad things that happen to you now, there would be something good awaiting you. You just have to patiently wait for it and when it comes, learn to embrace it. Fear is okay, but you have to take that leap to get your happiness. Kim did take that leap of courage. Congratulations to Pavan for publishing this book and thank you for sharing us your craft. I am looking forward for more title from you! Read this review in Goodreads! Buy the book! BOOK REVIEW: MAGNOLIA SECRETS
BY: BETH HALE
New Hope, Mississipi has secrets… Magnolia Secrets is a fast paced, action packed, romantic novel by a brilliant author, Beth Hale. It follows the lives of a Southern heroine, Lainey Holley who is the wife of the esteemed Chief police officer, Evan Holley, and New Hope’s new officer, Walker Bell. I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of the book from Ms. Beth Hale in exchange for an honest review and I am thankful that I was given the chance to read this novel. It has its ups and downs but this book will surely fit readers who are into police/detective romances (I know, because I am one of them). |
